I spent most of my life believing that once I turned 40, my life would be over. Friends of mine who turned 40 before me had let themselves go and assured me that being 40 meant taking it easy and walking around in sweatpants. My 39th birthday party was a huge blowout bash because I was sure I wouldn’t have any fun or excitement when I turned the big 4-0.
I could not have been more wrong.
When I turned 40, my life went into overdrive. I made the conscious decision to keep living, to stay healthy, to achieve more than I ever did before. I decided I wasn’t going to walk around in sweats all day or sit on the couch and do nothing. 40 was not going to be excuse for letting myself go. And it shouldn’t be your excuse either.
I am possibly in the best shape of my life, and I am more involved in my career than ever before. My mind, body and wellness have never been better, and I have never felt more free, more myself.
40 is empowering. 40 is freeing. You have been on this planet for four decades. By now, you know who you are and you know what you want. You don’t have to apologize for it and you definitely don’t have to hide from it.
My mission is to make your 40s as awesome as mine are. Maybe you’ve let yourself go a little bit. That’s fine, but it’s time to start taking care of yourself again. Now. I have coached thousands of women on achieving their fitness and wellness goals, and I am going to do the same for you, with you.
Part of the reason I decided to stay active and go after what I’ve always wanted in my 40s is because I saw someone else doing it. I saw someone else having a great time after their 30s and I wanted to be like her. I knew that if she could do it, I could do it, too. So together, you and I are going to be fit, fabulous females in their 40s. I am going to show you how to have positive mindset that will have great effects on your body andyour wellness, and as your coach, I will personally show you how #40IsTheNew20.
